Dear Parents and Dancers,

Welcome to DANCE TO THE MUSIC SCHOOL OF DANCE. We have 2 locations in the Horsham Town Square Shopping Center. Studio A & B are located next to the Bread and Bagel House and Studio C is located next to the Body Shop.

Our school policies are as follows:

  • Tuition is due on a quarterly basis:  Sept.1, Dec.1, Feb.1 and Apr.1
    (A late fee of 10% will be assessed after 30 days)

  • Dancers must have hair up in a bun or ponytail and away from their face

  • (For Ballet, hair must be secured in a bun)

  • No food or chewing gum in the studio

  • No jewelry may be worn in class

  • For safety reasons, no child will be permitted to leave the studio without a parent

  • Please be prompt for class, as warm-up is very important to aid in avoiding injuries

  • In case of inclement weather, call the studio no earlier than 1 hour prior to class time

  • Any classes missed due to illness or bad weather can be made up in another class of your level within the same semester.   (Please see teacher)

Dress code:

Creative Dance: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers (no skirts or tutus)

Kinderdance:  Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and tan tap shoes (no skirts or tutus)

Ballet:  Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers (skirts may be worn, but no shorts or sweat pants)

Pointe:  Black leotard, pink tights and pointe shoes (must take additional ballet classes)

Tap:  Black leotard, pink or tan tights, tan tap shoes

Jazz:  Solid color leotard, tights, tan slip on boot

Lyrical / Modern: Solid color leotard, footless tights, tan dance paws

Hip Hop, Hip Hop with Jazz:  Solid color leotard/ tank top, dance shorts/pants, black jazz sneakers

Character: Solid color leotard, pink or tan tights, long black leg warmers (for shoes, see teacher)

Boys:  White T-shirt, black dance pants, sweats or shorts, black ballet, tap or jazz shoes.

Rosh Hashannah-closed Sat. Sept 19
Yom Kippur- closed Mon. Sep
Thanksgiving- closed Nov 25, 26, 27 & 28
Winter break- closed Dec. 21 – Classes resume Jan.4
Nutcracker Performances/Presidents’ Day/Spring Break- TBA
Dress Rehearsal & Recital- June 11&12, 2010
